Immediately after details of the PHP2Shell vulnerability became known, we rolled out the recommended configuration changes to reduce the attack surface on our systems. In the following hours, we updated all PHP installations (Spaces) under our management to the respective patched PHP version. This required a brief restart of each individual Space, which could have resulted in a brief interruption in availability. In addition, all ManagedApp deployments were rebuilt with the patch and redeployed. As part of this work, the Cloud Dashboard and API were unavailable to all customers on October 21, 2026, between 4:05:40 PM and 4:14:37 PM. Important note for container deployments: If you use our cloud to run your own containers, you are responsible for the container images used and their PHP configuration. We have no control over these. Please check whether your images are affected, update them to a patched PHP version if necessary, and then redeploy your containers. Maintenance work on the systems we manage is now fully complete. No action is required on your part for Spaces and ManagedApps.
